Research collaboration

For non-accelerator physics (underground experiments) which study rare phenomena, a system belonging to the Department of Physics has been installed at the Oto Cosmo Observatory (RCNP) for research collaboration. RCNP conducts experiments using ring cyclotrons and a broad range of other research collaboration. Experiments conducted at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization include research collaboration with Tohoku University, University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, and other institutions. Experiments at Brookhaven National Laboratory involve collaboration with U.S. researchers. Joint research is also being carried out with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
